You might hear hints of great British one-offs like Tricky, Roots Manuva, even a more laid-back Dizzee Rascal as grime, trip hop & jazz intermingle in Rarelyalways sound which is further evident on the new EP produced by Hanni El Khatib.

I was welcomed to this interesting EP by the warmest sub-bass drums and bright rhode tones coming from the live keys which sounded harmless. If memory serves we were in February, 2020, in London a month that’s very random in terms of weather but none the less always cold. The embryonic stage to ‘ Covid 19’ lock-down restrictions, uncertain waters and all of the above. As the months went on, I couldn't shy away from being sentimental, but at the same time the constant need for self-improvement. To say the past year has been trying and a constant self evaluation is an understatement.
