You might hear hints of great British one-offs like Tricky, Roots Manuva, even a more laid-back Dizzee Rascal as grime, trip hop & jazz intermingle in Rarelyalways sound. The Hackney raised jazz musician, producer and vocalist returns with a new EP.

Can one suggest music is starting to sound like we’re in a new decade? Many creatives put emphasis on the process being organic, not forced. In all honesty “Don’t ask” screams that in it’s entirety, taking an innovative approach that grooves through different gears diving into layers words can’t describe. While ‘Excuses’ leans towards the left field side of Hip-hop with an older version of Rarelyalways talking to a younger version of himself reevaluating the years.
